2. What Hush is — and what it is not
Hush is a personal reflective journaling app. Each day it presents one open-ended question, written by a certified human coach, and provides a private space to write your reflection.
Hush is not a medical device. It is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, psychiatric care, or any other professional mental-health service. It is not a crisis service. Reflective journaling is a wellness practice; it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

3. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hush. If you are between 13 and 18, please use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian. The app does not require you to create an account; your reflections live on your device.
4. Subscription, free trial, and pricing
Hush offers a free trial period (currently 7 days), after which an auto-renewing subscription is charged through your Apple Account. Available subscription tiers and prices are shown inside the app and can change over time. The exact price you pay will be displayed at the moment of purchase, in your local currency, before you confirm.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation is managed by Apple — open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or follow Apple's instructions: support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.
If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel after the first paid period has begun, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. EU 14-day cooling-off and refunds
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from any new subscription, beginning the day after purchase. To exercise this right, please contact Apple Support — refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by Innershift.
Outside the EU/EEA/UK, refund eligibility is governed by Apple's policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Innershift cannot directly refund App Store purchases.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
- Resell, rent, or sublicense access to the app.
- Use the app to harass others, distribute illegal content, or impersonate any other person.
- Bypass technical restrictions or attempt to access subscription content without paying.
We reserve the right to revoke access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
7. Your content
Everything you write in Hush — your journal entries, mood selections, reflection history — is yours. We do not claim any ownership or licence over it. Your entries stay on your device by default. You can export them at any time via Settings → Export my reflections, and you can delete them all via Settings → Delete all data.
8. Our intellectual property
The Hush app, brand, "h." monogram, the curated question library, and the surrounding design system are the property of Innershift. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial reflection. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish the question library outside of the Hush app.
The questions are written by a CTI-certified human coach and are inspired by the broader practice of professional coaching inquiry. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) or any specific coaching brand or methodology trademark.
9. Updates and changes to the app
We update the app regularly to improve features, fix bugs, and add new content. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion. If a change materially affects your subscription value, we will notify you in-app or by App Store update notes.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. Where local consumer-protection law (e.g. EU consumer rights, KVKK) grants you statutory warranties, those continue to apply.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innershift is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost data (please use Export regularly), lost profits, or emotional distress. Where local consumer law limits this disclaimer, that local law prevails.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you have paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Any dispute arising from these terms will, where local consumer law allows, be subject to the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye. Consumers in the European Union retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their member state of residence.
13. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Substantive changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use of Hush after a change means you accept the updated terms.
